We love Red Nose Day here at Brays. Our Children learn about the hardships faced by so many around the world while having a really fun day!
On Friday, our school will be joining people across the UK to celebrate Red Nose Day 2024. It is a special event, encouraging young people to have fun whilst raising money to help others.
All of the proceeds raised by the event are used by the charity to support vulnerable people here and all over the world live free from poverty, violence, and discrimination.
This year we will be doing our bit with a range of activities planned:
- A whole school sponsored walk on Thursday 14th March
- A non-school uniform day on Friday 15th March
Since launching the first Red Nose Day in 1985, Comic Relief has helped a staggering number of people, and tens of millions of pounds are raised every year.

Red Nose Day is much more than just a television spectacle. The event gives us the opportunity to teach our children about the importance of charity, being kind, and helping others.
We would like to thank our children, their families and the local community for all their support, generosity and participation in fundraising events held at the school.
