We’ve had a fantastic end to the year for our Year 6 Leavers at Brays School. A Leavers prom and special assembly celebrated the pupils achievements and their hard work. A group of pupils at Brays School had a wonderful time during our first residential trip in 18 years! The pupils, Amelia, Ruhan, Ashleigh, Huma, Idrees, and Mustafa spent three adventurous days at the Beaudesert Outdoor Activity Centre in Cannock Wood, a fantastic place with plenty of things to do for our pupils! Disability Confident is creating a movement of change, encouraging employers to think differently about disability and take action to improve how we recruit, retain and develop disabled people. Being Disability Confident is a unique opportunity to lead the way in our community. It was developed by employers and disabled people’s representatives to make it rigorous but easily accessible. Teacher Strike Action – Wednesday 1st February 2023 You will be aware that there is planned industrial action by one of the teacher unions for this Wednesday.We have decided to close the school on Wednesday to all pupils with the exception of those whose parents are keyworkers.All transport for pupils has been cancelled for Wednesday so keyworkers will need to make their own home school transport arrangements.
