Parents/Carers can apply to their Local Authority for Home to School Transport. Those that are eligible are provided with information about the transport arrangement by the Local Authority. The school does not have any control over this arrangement including the pickup and drop off time. Concerns should be raised with the Local Authority.

The Transport providers used trained guides and drivers who are experience in working with the pupils in our school. All providers use staff who have enhanced DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) certificates.

If parents or carers are unable to be at home when their child is picked up each morning, or to receive him/her when he/she returns home at the end of the day, they must nominate a responsible adult to take their place. The name of this adult must be notified to Local Authority and School as having parental permission with at least one day’s notice where possible.

If parents or carers wish to request any change to the agreed arrangements for transport to and from school each day, we would ask them please to notify the school in writing, giving as much notice as possible.
